Cormier Jewelers was established in 1949 by Joseph and Claire Cormier.  The store was remodeled by their son, William, and nephew, Marc Seguin, in 1986 doubling its original size. Shortly after Marc and his wife, Doreen, purchased the store and have continued to offer the same personalized service and quality Cormiers has been known for. The tradition of a family oriented business continues with daughter, Jessica, and Kyle Hartshorn who has been with us for 18 years. Both have completed courses through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA)  to help ensure that our quality service continues.

At Thanksgiving 2002, we expanded the store which doubled our existing floor space and allowed us to add a new art gallery section which features works from local artists through the Massasoit Art Guild.  Paintings from three featured artists are displayed every month, along with 70+ artists displaying at least one painting each month.  It is an every-changing display of oils, watercolors, pen & ink and mixed media mediums as well as photographs and wood turnings.  This is a great opportunity to see how talented the local artists are and purchase pieces at very reasonable prices.  Prints and originals by well known artists Fran Gianfriddo and Gary Lippincott are also on display.

Cormier Jewelers and Art Gallery has all the options and variety of the big chain stores but with Cormiers quality always comes first, allowing you, the customer, to benefit from our knowledge and experience. So… if you haven’t visited Cormiers lately, come in and see all you’ve been missing.
